- 6 cups water
- 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 3crushed cardamon
- 1/3 cup superfine sugar or brown suger ( i use coconut sugar)
- Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Add hibiscus flowers, ( let it sip for an hour)
- another bowl add the crushed cardamon and fresh seeded tamarind let it sip for an hour
- Strain through a sieve; discard flowers.
- Stir in sugar. (we prefer coconut sugar)
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve with ice cubes or try our infused ice cubes
