Hibiscus spiced iced tea

Ingridients

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • Tamarind
  • 3crushed cardamon
  • 1/3 cup superfine sugar or brown suger ( i use coconut sugar)

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add hibiscus flowers, ( let it sip for an hour)
  3. another bowl add the crushed cardamon and fresh seeded tamarind let it sip for an hour
  4. Strain through a sieve; discard flowers.
  5. Stir in sugar. (we prefer coconut sugar)
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

To serve:

Serve with ice cubes or try our infused ice cubes
