Wholegrain gluten free bread

Imagine waking up in the morning to the smell of freshly hot baked bread, no need to imagine here’s a simple vegan whole grain bread recipe. ( No Eggs, No Milk, No Animal Products)


50g Maize Flour
50g Quinoa Flour
50g Sorghum Flour
25 Potato Starch
25g Tapioca Starch

2 Tbsp ground chia seeds ( egg replacer)
1 tsp baking soda
1tsp dry instant yeast
1 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
2 tbsp of tossed grains (sunflowers, linseeds )


Firstly, take 2 tbsp of chia seeds grind them into a powder, then add 4 tbsp of water mix together until a thick sticky consistency, set aside. Mix all flour on a separate bowl, add the grains, baking soda, dry yeast, coconut sugar and a pinch of the salt. Then add the chia paste ( egg replacer) mix with a hand mixer or just use your hands 😉

place in a bread tin on top of the baking paper, and bake for 25 – 30 minutes in a 200C heated oven.

Let it cool for around 45 – an hour. Take a slice of this whole grain vegan and gluten-free bread will literally melt in your mouth.

Tastes even better the following day 😉
